Rugby legacy celebrated in Manchester as Mark Cueto make a special visit to support more schools being given the opportunity to play rugby
Great Manchester Schools received a special visit at Eccles RFC from Mark Cueto, a former England with 50 caps for his country. The festival on Thursday 01 October played host to local kids for their first rugby festival as part of the Manchester All Schools Cluster.
Mark Cueto commented: “I’m proud to be supporting All Schools and to play my part in helping spread the message of rugby. With the World Cup now in full swing, this is our best opportunity to broaden the reach fo the game by taking rugby and its core values to new places and people where it hasn’t always been. I hope more young people come to love the game as much as I do.”
